A school in the north of England received a formal complaint about its PHSE provision. Due to the sensitivity of the subject matter and its interest to the media, there was a significant risk of negative media coverage about the complaint.  

The school was supported throughout the subsequent process, with key issues carefully worked through and a robust response to the complaint developed and articulated sensitively.

The deployment of several different communications tactics ensured that the school was able to defend itself where this was needed, and reduced the potential for reputational damage.
